CFHS Superbowl Party Plans

It’s that time of year again! Super Bowl LVII is right around the corner and students at Chagrin Falls High School are super excited to watch it. This year’s Super Bowl will be held on February 12, 2023. It will be held at State Farm Stadium in Glendale, Arizona.

If you’re an avid watcher of the NFL you would probably host a party or at least watch it somewhere else. Students at Chagrin have shared their plans to watch this game. They also talk about their past experiences watching the Super Bowl. Parties consisting of wings, pizza, dip, and plenty of drinks.

Senior Luke Cornell shared his plans for the Super Bowl. The AFC and NFC championship games will be held this weekend, and those games will decide who goes to the Super Bowl. Cornell also talked about the teams he would like to see in the Super Bowl.

“I just plan to go see the game at a friend’s house. It’s not gonna be a big party but it’ll just be a couple of guys,” said Cornell. “I would like to see the Bengals play the 49ers in the Super Bowl because I feel those are the teams with the most talent.”

Last year it was the Bengals vs. Rams. Joe Burrow and the Bengals have been on a hot streak recently. They have won their past 10 games in a row, so people may think that the Bengals will win it all.

Chagrin alumni Max Moore wanted to talk about his love for the Bengals, and his plans to watch the game. Moore has been a Bengals fan for most of his life. Moore also plans to hang out with friends and have a party to watch the game.

“I think the Bengals can reach the Super Bowl again,” Moore said. “Joe Burrow will take the game over if they reach the super bowl. I also plan on hanging out with my friends and just have some food to keep our minds busy before the game.”

Watching the game is always pretty entertaining. However the game isn’t the only entertaining thing while watching the Super Bowl. The commercials are also a hit with most people. The Super Bowl commercials are always known to be funny. Senior Ryan Heater talks about his most memorable Super Bowl Commercials.

“A commercial I clearly remember was puppy, monkey, baby. Where a puppy mixed with a monkey mixed with a baby is walking around with a Mountain Dew. That was the best commercial,” said Heater.
