Christmas Gift Guide

With Christmas coming up, many wonder what gifts to get their loved ones. This is a comprehensive list of the best Christmas gifts of 2022.

Uggs
This year’s hottest winter shoe is coming back straight from 2016. Uggs have been trending on social media in the last couple of weeks, with the most popular style being the ultra mini ugg, which will cost around $140. The company was founded in 1978 by a surfer in Southern California, Brian Smith, who loved sheepskin and thought others eventually would too. This is at the top of senior Megan Miller’s Christmas list. “I’ve seen uggs everywhere on social media so I’m asking my parents for them,” said Miller.

The North Face puffer jacket
Going along with the theme of winter clothing, cropped puffer jackets are going to be a huge gift this year. They come in many different styles and colors but will cost anywhere from $200-300. They have been all over social media including TikTok and Instagram. The North Face company was started in San Fransico in 1968 by Douglas Tompkins and has been popular since the late 90s.

IPhone 14
The newest iPhone came out earlier this year and will be on many Christmas lists. This phone will cost $1000+ with accessories. The most popular colors are light blue and olive green. Apple was started in 1976 by Steve Jobs in California and is the 2nd top producer of phones. Senior Mary Catherine Cain loves her new iPhone and thinks it’s worth the money. “I would definitely recommend getting this as a gift, it’s much faster than my old iPhone,” said Cain.

Carhartt Jacket
Both guys and girls will want this gift. Carhartt has been trending for the past couple of years, and it’s still becoming more popular. However, it will cost around $120. The most popular style is the Loose Fit Firm Duck Insulated Flannel. Carhartt was started in 1889 by Hamilton Carhartt.

Kendra Scott Necklace
A holiday favorite for many years, the $60 Elisa Kendra Scott necklace is a crowd-pleaser. This company was started in 2002, in Scott’s Texas basement. Senior Maya Rooney got this gift last Christmas. “It was my favorite gift, I got it from my grandma so it’s really special to me,” said Rooney.
