“I really love jazz music. Right now, I’m listening to John Coltrane’s Giant Steps. It’s a technical masterpiece… All of the songs, especially the title track [Giant Steps]- is one of the most feared songs in jazz history. It has some of the most complex chord progressions on any jazz song I’ve ever heard, and I think that [Coltrane’s] willingness to make unusual songs makes him stand out. I’m someone who is studying music right now, and listening to this album in full and exploring its uniqueness is very fascinating.
