Lady Tigers Sweep the CVC, Clinch Championship

In just the third season in program history, the girls’ golf team has won the Chagrin Valley Conference Championship.

Beating out Orange and Independence to clinch the CVC title on September 17, the Lady Tigers completed a season sweep by going undefeated during CVC play.

“It honestly feels great. It feels like such an accomplishment to win the conference in only our third season. Coach Reboul is the greatest of all time and she really prepared us the whole season to perform like we did. Our whole team really worked and played well to win this title,” said junior Katie Kwasny.

Head coach, Kristin Reboul, also won CVC coach of the year after guiding the girls to glory during her third season as head coach.

“I’m just so proud of the team; the success is a result of hard work and dedication. The accomplishments provide a nice confidence boost as we are ready to embrace the challenge of the highly competitive division one sectional,” said Reboul.

From here, the team looks to load up the van and make their way to the district qualifying tournament. After a great regular season, the girls are feeling confident and ready to continue their success at the state tournament.

“I mean the goal really is states. We want to get there to flex on all the other teams in the school. Watch out girls lacrosse we’re ready to go,” declared Kwasny.
